The committee elected at the Dallas convention has now been in post for a full year. Here is who they are and what they have been working on.
The officers
Michael Ecuka continues as President, leading the executive’s work on the scholarship fund. Beatrice Akello, as Vice President, has taken on chapter relations across the United States and Canada — a role that barely existed two terms ago and now takes up most of her time.
Daniel Opio holds the records as Secretary General, Sarah Amuge manages dues and project budgets as Treasurer, and James Okurut runs communications.
Priorities for the remaining year
Three: finishing the membership system, publishing an audited account of the development programmes, and getting every chapter to submit an annual report on the same template.
