The scholarship fund is open for applications for the 2026–27 academic year, with twelve awards available — four more than last cycle.
Who it is for
The fund supports students of Iteso heritage in secondary and tertiary education, both in Teso and in North America. Awards are made on need and on academic promise, weighted towards students who would otherwise drop out.
What changed after last year
Two things. Awards are now paid directly to the institution rather than to the family, after a case where fees went unpaid despite the money being sent. And each recipient is matched with a member who has agreed to stay in touch through the year.

Applying
Applications close on 15 November. Decisions are announced in January so that recipients know before the second term begins. The application form and the criteria are available from any chapter secretary.
