Jennifer Amuge

Jennifer Amuge, originally from Agola, Kateta in Serere District, Uganda, currently resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A devoted mother of two, accomplished social worker, and entrepreneur, Jennifer is passionate about creating positive and lasting change in the lives of individuals and communities. Her professional and entrepreneurial journey is grounded in service, empowerment, and inclusion, with a particular commitment to supporting vulnerable populations and creating opportunities for personal, social, and economic growth. She believes that entrepreneurship, when guided by purpose, can be a powerful tool for strengthening families and communities. As Vice Chairperson of the Iteso of North America Association (INAA), Jennifer brings her passion for community development, leadership, and service to advancing the organization’s mission. She is particularly passionate about education, youth empowerment, women’s advancement, health, and sustainable livelihoods. Her decision to join and remain actively involved in INAA reflects how strongly the organization’s values resonate with her own belief in collaboration, compassion, unity, and investing in people. Guided by integrity and a commitment to service, Jennifer aspires to help build a stronger and more connected Iteso community while creating opportunities that inspire hope, strengthen resilience, and leave a meaningful legacy for future generations
